FOOTWEAR WARDROBE ESSENTIALS
When it comes to shoe wardrobe there are three sort of shoppers. One who just keep it minimal , one who want to have a closet dedicated to shoes and the one who want to have a shoe closet but the pocket doesn't allow . If you are one of the first and third kind this post is going to be of great help .
I believe most of us dream of having a closet dedicated to shoes . Aren't we? But wait do we really need them. Especially when you have other commitments you can't really splurge on shoes. So keeping it minimal is the best choice.
Below, I am highlighting the only shoes required to build the perfect wardrobe. And don't worry these select steppers will go with every single thing in your closet .
White Sneakers
----------------------
If you ask me no one should be deprived of this awesome pair of sneakers ;) . Everyone needs a comfy sneaker to kick back on the weekends or wear on casual Friday. It goes with any outfit. In recent trends you can see people wearing this with kurtis and even with lehenga .
Black Pumps
-------------------
Unlike white sneakers this pair is must have in any women's closet and it goes with literally everything—whether that's jeans and a tee or your formal outfit.
Make sure to buy the comfortable ones. If you are not comfortable with heels go for kitten heels. I personally love the one with ankle straps.
Flat Sandals
-----------------
If sneakers won't work on a particular day , you need a pair of easy sandals to slip on and run around town in on the weekend or between meetings during the workweek.
Heel Sandals
------------------
If you're going somewhere more formal but don't want to wear your go-to black pumps, block heeled sandals are key. A pair in a neutral shade will work with whatever.
Ankle length Boots
--------------------------
Getting through the colder months without proper boots is next to impossible. That's why a sleek pair is crucial to any woman's wardrobe. The best part? The same style you wore all fall and winter totally works for spring and summer too if you wear with skirts or shorts. Go for black or brown color to match with every possible outfit. If you are in India you may not need them in every region.
Mojris /Kolhapuri chappals
------------------------------------
Mojris and Kolhapuris are my absolute favorite as it fulfills the need of any kind of attire. When it comes to Indian attires these pairs add a lot of colours and at the same time it complements basic jeans tshirt look as well.
Golden/Silver sandal
----------------------------
Some of the attires could not be complemented by black heels because it has some golden or silver work . We need to have pair of golden and silver sandal. This is kind of must have for wedding or party attires. It goes with indian as well as western outfits.
These are the pair of shoes a minimalist should own. You will not need more than this but yes one can desire for more. 😉
Remember this post is for them who want to keep it minimal. Very soon I will be sharing the shoes which are in SS17 trend . I left some of my favorite shoes in India :(
This is how my shoe wardrobe looks like now . I can't say its minimal ;) but yes its not excessive too.
That's it for today guys.
